2013 has been a gratifying year so far in terms of creativity and productivity. I spent most of last year searching for something to “fill” my life, not knowing what was missing.
My current job is rewarding, fun and challenging - is a huge (and wonderful) part of my life, but doesn’t fulfill my creative bug. I tried many things like yoga, running, cooking, berry picking and more. None of the hobbies or activities I tried really helped complete what I thought was missing.
After spending a good solid 12 months searching for that “thing”, I realized, “Of course! It’s sewing!" It always has been, I just hadn’t realized how much I truly love it. I aquired a new sewing machine and haven’t stopped playing since.
